Preston revisit Elland Road, three weeks after inflicting the first and only defeat of the season on Marcelo Bielsa's men.

Leeds will be looking to get back to winning ways after back to back draws against Millwall and Boro.

Leeds will be without Berardi, Roofe, Shackleton and Hernandez but will be encouraged that Forshaw is on the comeback trail having come on as a second half substitute against Millwall. It is expected that the ex Boro midfielder will not be risked against the LilyWhites but will play for the U23's this week to bring his fitness up.

Alioski's starting position is under threat after a poor game at the New Den. Dallas is on standby.

Izzy Brown is working hard on his fitness but is not expected to make the squad for another week or two.

Forshaw didn't look fit at The Den.

Lost our way at the back once the energetic Phillips was subbed, thought it was an awful change tbh

Think I might try Alio up front in the Roofe role. He has the same traits and does have an eye for goal. Dallas to replace Roberts for me but other than that the same starting line up injury allowing

I think the Baker for Klich was more problematic. Baker is very poor defensively.

I'm Alioski's biggest critic however I'm unsure if I would drop him for the Preston game.

He certainly needs to improve on his Saturday performance & be a bit more clever too!

Baker looks a direct replacement for Saiz as an attacking mid. Izzy Brown should jump over him too once fit

Problem is he'd probably get caught offside even more playing upfront, as I posted previously he needs to be a bit more clever

Bielsa likes continuity and believes in accumulated form so I'd expect Roberts to get a run of games to get him going until Kemar is back

Morning All.
All good/interesting comments so far but don't think Bielsa will change starting 11 for this game.
Alioski needs to improve, but will start and be subbed if not.
Phillips will be used as DM or CH depending how Preston line up.
Hopefully 3 points for us at the end of the evening.

I think it is all about the 3 points here. We have had the performances but have drawn last 2 and only scored 1 goal in 3 1/2 games.
If Roberts can score that would be a massive boost for the player, club and manager.

Bielsa said after Saturday that he liked how Roberts got himself into scoring positions, so can't see him being dropped. Hopefully Preston play one up top, which will allow Phillips to play the DM role he's been thriving in and allow Klich to play in a more advanced role to help Saiz

Forshaw, Edmondson, Clarke all playing for the U23's
SO that points to a game plan that Bielsa has that
none of us have thought of... and I would say Roberts
plays again up front.

And we can rule out Pearce and Shaughnessy since they are are
also with the U23's. So I would say same team as Millwall with
a reshuffle on the bench.

U23's drew 2-2 against the Wendies.

Shaughessy injured half way through the second half, and had to go off.

Leeds had already made their substitutions at this point, so had to go down to 10 men.

I don't think you need the red button, it's the featured game isn't it?
