Seconded votes for some already mentioned, Godfather Trilogy (I don't even mind 3), action movies I like the recent Bond movies with Daniel Craig.
If I had to nominate just one though it would have to be Pulp Fiction - Tarantino masterpiece.

My Dad was a big James Cagney fan and I became one so I’d choose
Angels with Dirty Faces
White Heat
Always liked Hitch
Rear Window
Dial M For Murder
North by North West
And Steve McQueen
Bullitt
Papillon
I always thought the screenplay to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was brilliantly conceived and then executed by 2 fine actors
More recently
Almost Famous ( great soundtrack )
Seven
Mystic River
A Few Good Men
And I always watch White Christmas on Xmas Eve .

Second that. Koyaanisqatsi is a great film.Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 1:33 pm
And two probably not as mainstream:
Koyaanisqatsi (I think was early/mid 80's - with no dialogue, just soundtrack, it was a sort of time-lapse trip around the world. I thought it was amazing when I first saw it),
