Mrs 64 does that when we have excess meat like a joint, use it in a casserole or a curry

Speaking of diets, did you ever think of trying the Michael Phelps diet - 8-10,000 calories per day during training.
It's been said that if you lounge in water cooler than 70 degrees, your body will burn off calories to keep you warm - in turn this will lose you weight.
Just think, you don't need to run, lift weights, etc., just lay down in a bath of cool water.

We ate a full breakfast for all ten days when in Shrewsbury & Northumbria recently.

We eat much earlier on a morning at home & both of us are usually in a rush so it's just cereal, toast & cuppa generally

Cooked breakfast is our treat when we are away :-D

Used to love a cooked breakfast when we were away on the boat. We only had a small oven and two rings so the beans and tinned toms would go into one pan, and then the bacon and sausages in another, then when they were done, into the oven to keep warm whilst cooking the eggs. Delicious :)
I remember once, we were sailing out of a marina in Holland when I could suddenly smell bacon cooking. Someone on a Dutch boat shouted out "Hey you English, we're having your famous English breakfast...it's very good"

We live next to the southern end of a man-made lake and my wife and 2 brothers often go out fishing.
Couple of 4-lb Bass with English-style fish batter and home-made chips for tonight's dinner. Lovely grub
