Blackman stretchered off, Diaz goes in between the sticks
Peacock-Farrell to retain his place v Bristol City then as our squad is reduced once again

Oh dear...thats BPF secured for the Bristol Game. Who is the number 3 keeper?
My my my, such a lot of guns around town and so few brains
Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread
Can't tell you Nick as I've only watched the last 15 minutes of the game
Personally I'm not pinning my hopes on a player who has endured such a serious injury & has had no pre-season. If he gets through the next batch of matches I doubt he'll be fit or ready until way into 2019
Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread
Watched most of it, Izzy didn't stand out, a long way off being the player we need or hope he can be again.
Even if he doesnt get reinjured i dont think we will see the player he was, its been 2 years and Bolasie is still not fully fit or form wise close to he was before it.
Good to see Brown get some minutes though.

We won't be promoted relying on crocks, average loan signings & kids in ones squad

Inclined to agree.
In the summer we hoped to get Phil Foden, Brahim Diaz, Angus Gunn.
Instead we got Jack Harrison, Jamal Blackman and a long term crocked Izzy Brown.
Not the clubs fault, we probably never had a hope of Diaz or Foden and Gunn was sold.
But couldn't we have done better then Baker, Blackman and hoping Izzy Brown may rediscover form eventually.

Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread
Baker and Harrison arent cheap, even if we are only paying 50% of there wages thats probably 30-40k a week.leic white 63 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 16, 2018 4:40 pm id would imagine its down to our wage budget !

Baker is apparently on 30k at Chelsea and Harrison between 30-50k

Not sure of the order but
Goalkeepers
BPF
Blackman
Kamil Miazek,
Dimitar Sheytanov
Will Huffer
Harrison Male (out on loan, but very highly rated 17 yr old I think)

Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread
its all speculation how much we paying them but i very much doubt and surprised if individually we be paying over 25 k a week .
we have a strict wage structure at present thats why imo we struggle to get quality players in and usually lose out on .
Re: Leeds United Under-23's thread
I remember a player saying those exact words many years ago after he'd been to Elland Road for talks and a medical. We didn't sign him because we didn't offer enough money. Can't remember who it was though I'm thinking maybe a Swedish player? Anyone know who it was?

Isn’t huffer 3rd choice keeper
They’ll probably bring in someone with a bit more experience . Important period coming up for us

Sheff Utd v Leeds
Leeds: Miazek, Burlace, Struijk, Shackleton, Nicell, Oduor, Stevens, Temenuzhkov, Roberts, Dalby, Harrison. Subs: Rae, Wollerton, Clarke, Davis, Edmondson.
No Izzy Brown in the squad
Harrison plays today....at least that means he won't start v Reading, hopefully not on the bench too

And Clarke only on the bench. Does that mean he is more likely to get a run out against Reading?1964white wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 2:39 pm Sheff Utd v Leeds
