Good to hear :-D

What position did Phillips play Gandi ?

Did he play in his usual position?

Good to see he was able to stand out which is how it should be - unlike the reports about Baker who never seemed to look any better than anyone around him.

Saw very brief highlights but the passing and movement looked superb and you can see why a few of these lads have slotted in to the 1st team so seamlessly when required.

He played in the Klich role first half, and did OK. Shackleton was in the defensive role. Second half he reverted to his usual position in front of the back four, allowing Gotts to play the attacking role.

Now watching it but u23s 1-0 up vs Southampton at ht

Izzy Brown was meant to start but now on the bench.

Berardi taken off limping late on 1st half.

Cant rely on players coming back from injury as keeps being said

3-2 Halme, Diaz and Edmondson with the goals.

Halme a real threat from set pieces, surely he'd be better off at CB than Phillips? Especially as Rotherham will hit it high and long.

That should have said "not"

I did watch about 25minutes of the 2nd half.

Decent i thought, some nice passes to the flanks, came and caught 1 or 2 crosses although wasnt under huge pressure but even so.

There was a few of those ones where the winger gets to the line then tries to cut it back low across the 6 yard box, he got down well for those and held on to them.

Decent enough for someone who hasnt played much.

Halme did really well to the point id be annoyed if Bielsa stubbornly plays Phillips at cb vs Rotherham especially since there giant cf caused Cooper and Berardi issues last game.

Thanks for the summary, mate. I wonder will MB play him against Rotherham, or give him another couple of U23 games before throwing him in. Sounds like Halme should be nailed on to start, really hope he's played his way back in there. I like Phillips, but he's no CH, no matter what Bielsa thinks.

Crowd of almost 2,900 there last night, more than doubled Tadcaster's previous attendance record (set when we played there pre-season in 2016). The Casilla effect?

1-0 Full time. A scrappy game settled by an early goal. Leeds 6 pts clear at the top of the table, and play 2nd placed Birmingham on Saturday.

Browns got his scoring boots on again. Really hope he's ready soon even for 20-30 minutes.

So much potential talent on that team sheet, so many close to first team. Odour is highly rated, McCalmont is a prospect too

1-0 Leeds - Jordan Stevens

Top of the table clash this too IIRC
