Tomorrow is the 48th anniversary of one of the best live recordings ever, and a very much under-rated album, Elton John's 11-17-70 (dated in the US system with the month first, then the day, then they year).
Here's a great cut from the album. Elton's piano absolutely rocks.

Well, starred is maybe taking it a bit far. I was an extra in the Pinball Wizard scene and the payment was a ticket to a Who concert a few days later.
I've still never seen the film.
