Live at Leeds, Waiting for Columbus, Allmans at Fillmore East, all great live albums.
Tomorrow is the 48th anniversary of one of the best live recordings ever, and a very much under-rated album, Elton John's 11-17-70 (dated in the US system with the month first, then the day, then they year).
Here's a great cut from the album. Elton's piano absolutely rocks.

Indeed all four are great live albums
Did I tell you I was at Live at Leeds

of course I did

But was it Leeds
BPF - Hossannah - Halme - Diaz - Struijk - Oduor - Gotts - Stevens - McCalmont - Temenuzhkov - Shackleton
"objective fan" - is that a consistent oxymoron?"

Did I ever mention that I starred in the film "Tommy"?
Well, starred is maybe taking it a bit far. I was an extra in the Pinball Wizard scene and the payment was a ticket to a Who concert a few days later.
I've still never seen the film.

That is so cool.
You were better off seeing the concert than seeing the film.

Yes, I've heard that the film is not very good.
The concert was excellent though. Seen the Who several times and they never failed to deliver.
