Greg Lake - I Believe in Father Christmas (Bally)
John & Yoko/The Plastic Ono Band - Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (billie)
The Pogues (feat. Kirsty MacColl) - Fairytale of New York (64) (very tough choice as Slade were my favourite band growing up in the early/mid 70's)

Dont really get he Wham song. Last Christmas he may have given his heart but how does he know that this years "special" person is any better than last years and wont give his heart away within 24 hours? Besides the melody sounds like "Cant smile without you" by Barry Manilow!

What's to get? It's a great song. Sounds like he professed his love to someone and the next day she shat on him! He's saving himself for someone special BUT he also says he could be fooled again by the same person as he still has feelings for her! BTW it sounds nothing like the Manilow song :o George Michael's other Christmas song December Song is also fabulous  :bear:

Sung it in the kop & south stand a few times v QPR to go with the 'Magic Hat' song

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to Pontus Jansson :-D

Semi final draw to follow
