I haven't listened to Barnett to be fair ...listened to a couple of others but that was a struggle at times and gave up. Started with a couple I liked but not enough to vote for before playing three in a row which were very poor imo...I got through about half of those I'd never heard of and then thought life's too short

Have to abstain; too uninformed and not nearly enough time listen to them all.

Throwing Muses, yes. Don't know enough of the others material to say.

Probably same for me John. I haven't even heard of any of them and it wouldn't be fair of me to just pick a name out....I'll leave it to the experts, but I've enjoyed following the comp. and reading everyones comments..... Thanks Leon

Ges, if you fancy dipping your toe into Beck's waters, can I recommend Sea Changes from 2002 and Morning Phase from 2014. Two sides of the one coin and some of his finest work. Odelay, his breakthrough album, also excellent. In my opinion, of course, you may think otherwise!

By the way, off to see The Dead South in Nottingham on the 8th Feb, much better venue than the last time. Downside Eliza Mary Doyle isn't on the tour.

Played a minute sample of each song from Sea Change earlier, listening to whole album  not what I was expecting, even though I understand he's pretty diverse.
