Stoke fans are delighted, hated his negative style of football.

Another English manager with an over inflated reputation just because he is English, arrogant twat to boot.

David Moyes, Nathan Jones, Big Sam, Derek McInnes, Slav Jokanovic, Carlos Carvalhal.

Funny how we were slated by the media for (rightly) getting rid of Heckaday, yet nothing is said when others do it.

Jokanovic turned them down, glad about that. Now they're looking at Nathan Jones at Luton.

Think Stoke may regret this, not a nice bloke but that doesn't mean he can't do the job, which given time I think he'd turn it around.

I think they expected to go straight back up and walk the league. But the problem for clubs like Stoke is Sky tv money made up over 80% of their turnover and made them believe they are bigger and better than they actually are. They'll be down in the Championship for a long time.

Agreed, as Villa are finding out.

tbh they've only spent a net of 20 million this season - not ridiculous money compared to what other clubs like wolves were spending last season

He should've stayed at Luton imo. I can see this going the same way as Hurst at Ipswich. Huge gap between Championship and League One now, look how strong Sunderland are and they were woeful last year.
