Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
He took the criticism to heart and absolutely schooled every single person who doubted his integrity.
He spoke to Frank and for Derby to officially complain us, he told nobody to worry, I’ll show that show pony how the big boys roll

Not a football fan....
Lampard should listen & learn from the master, if not just shut up
He'll be gone by the end of the season

Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
After this evening, we should probably ask 'what's changed?'. The answer? Nothing overtly but plenty in subtle ways. The demonstration of knowledge and preparation Bielsa gave, a seminar that would be worth thousands of pounds in itself, will overshadow the paltry confirmation of what everyone knew to begin with. However, those who criticised Bielsa before will sound less credible and their complaints will sound infinitely more petty while those who defended him will be armed with this real display of just how infinitely small an advantage that this (legal) tactic of scouting the opponent actually gives Leeds in the face of exhaustive, overwhelming research of material available in the public domain.
I feel like I can wade into any argument over this increasingly ridiculous-sounding 'spygate' armed with better knowledge of Bielsa and how his brilliant mind works. I feel even more vindicated in my defence of his actions before tonight, and the protests of those crying foul will sound even more ignorant.
Thank you all for a great welcome and what a time to join this forum. MOT, lads and lasses, I bid thee all good night.

Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
It is interesting that the headlines from the major media outlets
are big an bold about Bielsa "Spying" whereas Bielsa himself says
that he sent someone to "watch" opponents training.
Spying is a very emotive word with bad connotations and is being
used to promote a negative bias towards Bielsa, but what we have just
witnessed will go down in history as one of Leeds finest moments.
THe 70 minute presentation was utterly brilliant, and a masterclass
in football management. It was like being inducted into a secret society
and things which we have only seen through a glass dimly were openly
displayed in all their wondrous glory, to the awe of the fans, and to the
dismay of any other football manager watching.
The attention to detail was astounding. It is always the gripe of the fans
that when their team is not doing well, then the manager does not know
what he is doing. This argument can never ever be levelled at Bielsa ever
again. Not only does he know what he is doing, he knows what the opposition
manager is doing as well.
With these revelations every single manager in this league has been put on notice
that Bielsa knows more about their team than they do themselves, and this
is a devastating psychological blow to any team that must now play Leeds.
This press conference has been a defining moment in the season.
An absolute bombshell, and in such a way that regardless of any
action taken by the EFL or FA, be it sanctions or points reduction,
Bielsa has gained a wonderful victory, and being the honourable man
that he is, he never once cited the spying AVB did for Chelsea or how it
even happened at a National level. He does not take cheap shots.
He may not speak English, but he does speak football, and today
he made the fans proud, and reinforced their belief that he is
a special man for a special time.

Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
Bielsa just fired a warning to the rest of the Championship after Derby and Lampard snitched to the EFL. I suspect some of these gobby managers will keep quiet now! Bielsa showed how to take revenge not with violence, accusations or insults, but by getting one over them without them expecting a thing. Absolute genius.

Why have sky got clowns like Peter shilton commenting on it and saying Beilsa is Italian!!! Pathetic
Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
I bet Pep & Poch are having a little chuckle to themselves and raising a quiet glass tonight. In the meantime I thought I'd put the match on to take a look at happy Franky and his Babes. The Saints boss is paying much attention to a laptop...wonder if MB has emailed him some top secret info...sorry, it's not top secret anymore

done absolutely nothing wrong there's no law to apply apart from maybe a slap on the wrist for bringing the game in dispute .

I suspect a new rule will be written about "no spying on training sessions". But if they try a points deduction, Radz will have his lawyers ready to take them to CAS, which is why I think they'll bottle it.leic white 63 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 16, 2019 8:29 pm i very much doubt swanee.

It's because no one cares, so they're just embarrassing themselves trying to drag this out for attention and hysteria.NorfolkWhite wrote: ↑Wed Jan 16, 2019 8:46 pm They have just surpassed themselves - they had a rugby player giving his view

Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
All of us, Leeds and non-Leeds alike, should give thanks to whatever gods we worship that we follow the beautiful game in the time of the genius that is Marcelo Bielsa. Forget Sky, who are s**tting themselves that their Championship cash cow will go up and leave them with Bolton v Blackburn, those who have played and managed at the top level are all in awe of OUR coach. What a time to be a Leeds fan, I don't think I could love the man any more if I tried. Tactical masterclass delivered and that crying little bitch Lampard schooled again.

Re: Bielsa Calls A Press Conference.
I've called this press conference to demonstrate that I go off my analysis info more than what the spy would of given me prior to the Derby game and I'm about to show you..... And leave it at that but to say and admit that he's watched all the training sessions before we played each opponent is just stupid IMO
