I wonder if the Phillips v Forshaw pendulum has swung a bit more in favour of Phillips .

Really? ...can't imagine it was injury? Unless he fell over while getting off the bench. Maybe came off because of feeling unwell
Sounds like it. Bielsa said he got better after getting into the dressing room. Ambulance as a precaution.

Thanks to Jack we got the equaliser. Surely he gets an assist for that. Hope he's better soon.

Because of the goal? I do think Phillips is the answer to the number ten problem but Middlesborough found it too easy to find space in front of our back 4 and they're nowhere near the attacking threat of Norwich whom I though Forshaw had a decent game against..goal aside and I do like Phillips (One of the few to defend him here last season) it's a no for me. Still 50/50 who's best there and we probably need a true number 4 at some point

also poor positioning for their goal

Thanks guys once again for your excellent commentaries, especially faaip who really had it difficult with his streams but didn't give up. A bit like our lads out on the pitch today

Was stretchered to the dressing room, given oxygen, felt better once in dressing room, taken to hospital as a precaution. According to Phil Hay

I'd have both. Rest Klich for a game or two.

Keeper - Suspect today under crosses but great save early
Wing backs - Abysmal from both sides
Centre backs - not much to do and Pontus was a menace going forward
Midfield - Disjointed, Phillips too deep and Klich basically on his own in the middle of the park struggled ...
Wings - We got nothing via the wing
Strikers - Roofe full of running and Bamford a little rusty but the best unit on the day
BPF - Hossannah - Halme - Diaz - Struijk - Oduor - Gotts - Stevens - McCalmont - Temenuzhkov - Shackleton

"objective fan" - is that a consistent oxymoron?"

TBF to Klich he was a one man midfield today until the second half ...

Well spank my thighs - given up on the game at 97mins make myself some toast and see we've salvaged a draw ! Pulis will be fuming !!!!!!!!!!!!1
Me too. Had the commentary on and started folding laundry with about three minutes to go. Threw it all up in the air and bounced on the bed when we scored. Valuable point, feels like a win.

Happy with a point we were disjointed but a point helps. Hope Blackburn and Stoke do us a favour. Another game out the way.

Decent point for us considering we didn’t get back on level terms sooner , can’t help but feel the next 2 home games are crucial for our automatic promotion push .

Another one of those tear your hair out ( if you have any ) afternoons.

Just back from a walk where I tried to digest what has been happening in this league.

Although overall we don't have the strongest pool of players in the league I think that they deserve a lot of credit. We deserve to be where we are.

Why? Because admit it or not every other club is afraid of us.

I fully understand when the likes of Rotherham play their version of anti-football in an attempt to thwart us but when you see the likes of Stoke, and Boro, teams who were pre-season rivals for promotion contenders playing so negatively at home it says more about them than it does about us. Even WBA got men behind the ball and waited to hit us on the break.

We still remain the team to beat.

Personally I think that Bielsa has to help the players get their mindset right, get rid of the anxiety in our play _-- Always it seems to start with problems at the back, sometimes I think we are in such a rush to get it forward it concentration on doing the basics gets ignored. Midfield we lack a wee bit of physical presence at times but we didn't strengthen in that area in Jan, hopefully we will during the summer. Up front the chances are there.

Hopefully today will galvanise the team, give them confidence going into Wednesday and do doubt another 70/30 war of attrition.

6 points are a must from the next two matches.

No Prisoners

Edit: Oh and thanks for the streams and the company during the game ;-)
