Cooper reads the ball perfectly to intercept a through ball.

Hernandez then play a a 40 yard crossfield through ball to Ali who wins a corner.

Cleared after a decent move.

Think he thought Bamford would play it with pace and not underhit

Fantastic

Three crucial happenings (stating the obvious I know :))

1. Scoring early

2. Consolidating that with a second

3. Not letting them score

A very good performance overall. Defending pretty well and attacking well too. A few misplaced passes, but at least they weren't near our goal.

What a half...breathless stuff. A disciplined second half needed now.

Agreed, the Bamford pass was too soft.

Half time.

NOW just to get through the first 10 mi Utes after the break without conceding. ( almost an impossibility this season)

What a superb half of football.

Bite in the tackle. Flair, vision, inventiveness and most of all a killer instinct in front of goal.

I wouldn't mind if we played 45 mins of keep ball this half. No need go allow the baggies a sniff. Make them come at us then pick them off on the break.

Must be talking about a different tackle.

Does Bielsa do disciplined performances? Just more of the same I'm guessing. An early goal and I might be able to breathe...

He has. Been a standout with and without the ball.

Brilliant first half from us, best we've played since Derby

They have stood up really well, afetr Tuesday's poor showing.

WBA have got away with some very naughty tackles
