tbh Leon I'd have taken a 1-0 against a bogey team, but the goals and general play must have given you and others a rare treat on your travels. 7-0 would have put our GD level with the blunts. Fingers crossed for Saturday.

I wasn't able to follow the game tonight as I was out. Managed to sneak a peek at the score at half time, so could relax for the rest of the evening. Sounds like a good performance, and should do our confidence good for Saturday.

6 points from those two away games - brilliant. We look to be getting back to our best at the perfect time.

If you asked me last month I would have told you Norwich and Sheff United were better teams and probably deserved the top two. Now I think we edge it over both.

A win on Saturday and we have a toe in the prem.

I agree, good performances and a settled side now. Ayling and Alioski improving in form and we are not conceding now.
Sheffield are there for the taking. I hope we go for it as a draw with our run in may not be enough.
I have a hunch that Hull may get something at Norwich tonight

The good thing is that even though we should have scored more in the second half it was a half where we didn't need to use too much energy and were able to almost coast through it as if it were a training session. Contrast that to Sheff Utd who probably had to work their b*lls off after having to play 60 minutes with 10 men - and even though they won they should hopefully be tired as it sounds like Brentford really took the game to them (Brentford had 27 shots but only 4 on target and you thought we were wasteful).

I guess if Brentford had earned a point it may have made Saturdays game different. At least with it close (2 points) it focuses the mind like when we played WBA

What a performance :-D friends of mine who support the scousers/scum/codheads texting me on the journey home saying how impressed they are with Leeds style of play. A very comfortable evening watching Leeds playing scintillating football. I had a feeling at half-time we wouldn't score in the second-half even though we created enough chances to win by 7 or 8.

Positives

A performance worthy of champions (I hope).
Three cracking goals.
Another clean sheet.
Pablo's two sublime strikes.
Bamford's dummy for the first goal.
Klich's passes the ball into the net.
Two assists for Ayling & looking back to his best last night & at Bristol.
Pontus, Cooper & Phillips look so comfortable at the back.
Casilla dominates his box, a keeper that actually catches the ball.
Possession back to a better level - 63%
The togetherness of our players is so apparent.
Bielsa going mad at 3-0 up with one our players who hoofed the ball to Bamford after a series of passes.
Our support for Bamford after his three misses, immense !
Reading drummer boy drowned out to the chant of LEEDS, in the end I think he became confused as he continued to bang his drum to Leeds songs :)
Bielsa, Jansson/Bamford song in added-on-time continuing after the final whistle as the players applauded our fans.
We're top of the league

Negatives

Just wish Bamford had scored to shut those Reading fans up as they cheered everytime he missed three opportunities in five minutes.
Should have improved our goal difference by more, but that's probably being too picky !

Superb first half but missed the 2nd half. Sounds like a very frustrating one though . These missed chances could be the difference between auto's and dreaded playoffs . Each goal on Saturday may count as double come the end of the season so let's hope we can win by a couple which will see us 5 pts clear and not a worse goal difference. We're bang in form and it will be a cracking atmosphere , can't wait.
