Random Leeds fan paid for my Season Ticket

Post by Donny_White » Tue Mar 12, 2019 11:46 pm

I don’t post much stuff on here I’m mainly on Twitter which is how this story come about.

I seen a post on Twitter about a random Leeds fan wanting to help a current Season Ticket holder renew who was having difficultly.

I got hit by a car last August and was lucky to be alive, I had major surgery on my shoulder. Unfortunately I lost my job because of it as I was on agency work.

I messaged the guy & explained that I’m struggling financially to cope and renew my ST.

This absolute random Leeds fan then transferred me £534 to renew my season ticket.

Words can’t tell you how greatful I was & the only request he had was that he hoped it was in the premier league.

Faith in humanity & faith in Leeds fans 💙💛

Love things like that. Always see it as a two way exchange too, as you gave him the opportunity to practise his generosity.

That’s great news, I saw this tweet myself and thought it was some sort of scam to get someone’s details or something dodgy. Glad it was genuine and it’s helped someone who needed it.

Amazing!

Good to see there are plenty of very decent people around.

That was a lovely gesture from him. Dont forget to Pay if forward ( though I am pretty sure you have already)

It would be made even sweeter if you were able to watch games against Newcastle Liverpool etc than some of the rabble who turn up at ER currently.
