A bad loss for Hants with Essex moving up to 3rd in the table after their easy victory

Essex
214 all out

Hampshire
118 all out
88 all out

Essex win by an innings and 8 runs

Yorkshire suffered a middle-order collapse with Ballance once again holding the innings together with another fine half-century

Yorks went from 92 for 1 to 101 for 6 in the space of 10 overs, fortunately decent knocks from Willey & Yorkshire's stalwart Patterson steered the home county to 208 for 8 at close of play

Must say it looked great at York yesterday.
Would love to see it a regular fixture. 😁

Just to qualify this. The first part of the final will be on Channel 4. The second part will be on More4, as they are also covering a Grand Prix that day. If you have freeview, then you would be able to watch both.

Good to know, Gandi, cheers!

Hopefully the weather is good so there'll be somewhere up in Newcastle showing it outside.

T20 has started ..Loos and a rainout so far means we're probably struggling to qualify with 1 point from 4 .Fair enough. But what I don't get is Fidel Edwards our Championship strike Bowler is playing for the Bears for this tournament..I hate this with a passion, imagine having say Phillips play for our league team but go play in the FA cup for Aston Villa!!!

Going to get worse with the mercenary 100 ball games.

I'm assuming Edwards will be back once the Championship resumes ...ECCB is screwing things up badly imo

The ECB are pretty much like the EFL - haven't got a clue. The introduction of this new 100 ball league to replace 50 over cricket is just daft. You know, the 50 over cricket that we have just become World Champions at for the first time ever. If shooting yourself in the foot was a sport ....
