Gracias Marcelo

Post by SG90 » Wed May 15, 2019 9:40 pm

If this is goodbye, then thank you for everything Marcelo.

You've given us the best season we've had a long time, played the best football since the European days and most importantly, given the young players confidence and belief in themselves which will benefit us for many years to come.

You've been an absolute gent with what you've had to put up with, racism and xenophobia from the media, goading from opposition managers, poor referring decisions, but taken it all in your stride and never once blamed the ref and accepted everything was down to you.

Once again, thank you for giving us something to believe in and making us believe once again.
What I want from an owner: 1. Ambition. 2. Wage bill control. 3. Cut spending on loan fees. 4. Better scouting. 5. Get bigger fees for our best players. 6.No ego.

He has been a breath of fresh air, not just for our club but all of football. A real gent who has maintained his dignity and shown class the whole season. Please come back next season Marcelo.

I have hope that Bielsa could shape this club in a similar way that Wenger shaped Arsenal. My personal feelings is that his sense of honour and right will motivate him to stay around for one more tilt.

We have a top youth academy attracting really good young players . Some of these lads should form the backbone of the side from next season. In his hands we could be moulded into a real force again.
"We can wait for the next game with serenity"

"I am quite clear in my mind that one has to feel sincere love for those he leads, and if he doesn't feel it naturally, then he must learn how to feel it"

Marcelo Bielsa.

One more season please .... would love to see what he can do with this squad, our academy, and 2 or 3 of his own signings
I'll change my profile pic when we get promoted

Popey quoting his post match interview as saying “if the club is willing to offer me another season I am willing to listen to their offer” - or something along those lines.

Love Marcelo.

He wont get the credit for it now but he did an amazing job with a mid table group of players.

Telling what he said in his interview.

Basically what NW said.

He is challenging Radz to back him imo
