Lived and worked around the world with many different nationalities and cultures. Good pal of mine was in a briefing in SA a few years ago, where the participants had started to drift in to side discussions. The SA female lead decided to try to regain control of the briefing and started shouting "focus", "Focus everybody", needless to say my pal, (Brit), had to make his excuses quickly before the uncontrollable quiver of laughter surfaced in to what was supposed to be a serious briefing. I find it difficult to remain straight faced when speaking to Joberg residents when they include such words as "ice" and "focus" in conversations......
