He does remind me of a 18/19 Harrison though watching the tape.

We're paying 15M for Costa, we kinda need him to play, Pablo is very good there, Shack when fit. It's Alio's best position..Couple of seasons from now he looks a great prospect if someone points out he has a right foot..
Costa has improved but imo, he's not consistent enough. Shack is in and out with injuries. Don't like Alio on the right. Prefer Pablo at 10, which is where he would play if we had better on the right.
The best performance on the right for the last season and a half was Harrison on Monday night, until he switched back to the left.
If we could get that level of performance on both wings consistently then that would be something.

I'm not happy that we're paying £15m for Costa.
Not good enough for that money imo

Have to ask, if you think this is all we've got, then why do you think we'll go up as champions?
I do think we have decent hard-working players alongside our excellent players.

I've had a problem from day one with our lack of strikers & CB's

We certainly haven't got anyone to fill Kalvin's or Pablo's boots.

Phillips would be a massive miss but we're not going to get anyone as good who's prepared to sit on the bench waiting for an injury or suspension to him.
Roberts is the closest to Pablo but unfortunately he's injured even more than Pablo himself.

We can't as a club spend that kind of money on a player (who is improving) and then not play him. We can't go go the route of Ridsdale economics again and we won't get it back if he's sat on the bench for the rest of his contract. The kid is one footed and like I said earlier probably around where Jack was last season, not sure if that constitutes quality consistency..

Only time will tell on that one, I just feel we need better on the right, whether it be this kid, I've no idea.

It's Pablo's best position, and no evidence this kid is the answer for the consistency you're looking for Ges. Again I'm hoping we'll get him but I've been around long enough to know that Leeds fans will expect great straight out of the box. Which he maybe, kids sometimes play without fear, but temper expectations please if he plays this season

Fans want large sums of money spent on players, but want to double down on that if they get fed up with them 6 months into a contract. Most new players best season usually arrives second season imo. Keepers and maybe Strikers aside..Short termism is the enemy of all sports teams

I prefer Pablo in the 10, switching position across the pitch, he's a defenders nightmare.
Not sure if this kid is any better than we've got but wouldn't expect him to start until he's had at least 3/4 u23 games, then we may know more.

This is a cracking signing

Nohan Kenneh signed his first pro contract today, his 17th birthday

He helped our 17's into the 5th round of the youth cup last night where we get Norwich or Manure

So how are we going to afford both Costa and Harrison if we don't go up?
What I want from an owner: 1. Ambition. 2. Wage bill control. 3. Cut spending on loan fees. 4. Better scouting. 5. Get bigger fees for our best players. 6.No ego.

If we dont go up we are back to square 1 imo.

Bielsa will go and the cynic in me expects the improvement in individuals to go with him.

White, Meslier, KP, Harrison, will go.

3 members of our starting 11 will need to be replaced with what money? Thats just for starters.

All or bust seems over dramatic but next season looks very bleak if unpromoted.

Che Adams came off the bench today and set up the Southampton winner.

I seriously doubt we will get Adams but we need that level.

Without a doubt, this club will go downhill if it's not promoted this season. We have very average players doing well as a team but take a couple out and we know the team falls apart. This is the year to get up or I've no doubt we won't go up for a very long time if at all.

I've no idea how we afford Costa who looks a bust at 15M it has to be said. Harrison we just don't buy. If we don't go up Bielsa will walk and we promote Corberan and get the kids playing and start from scratch again with a season trying to avoid relegation as the first target

Costa has a 13M contract running to summer 2021 I think, unsure if we're paying that in full right now BUT I do remember everyone clamoring for us to buy Costa whatever it cost...

I still disagree we have average players. I'm not buying that tired argument.

Being linked with Yohan Boli.

Was meant to be moving from Belgium to Qatar but stalling.

1 in 3 record in Belgium (bit worrying that).

But nevertheless

I was just going to post that.

Think we need to be looking elsewhere, and fast.
