Of course, 64white could penalise both Gino and I by failing to post our predictions up!

Great to see that Gino and I have no predictions in common, so every game is "in play".1964white wrote:Gino's selections

Positions after the Final Round 46
A pulsating battle right upto the death as GW has Troy Deeney's 88th minute winner to thank for the points that ultimately won him the contest with Gino praying for the 1-1 scoreline to remain the same at Vicarage Road for him to claim the title of champion tipster
Well done GW - :champ:
Commisserations Gino
Jo grabs a 3rd place finish with the highest score of the day - 7 points
Ges ends up 4th with one time leader Idj who breaks his sequence of ducks in 5th place
I grab a top 6 place with a 6 point haul on the final day
And last but not least BB grabs 8th place with a good finish

Re: Football Competition 2011/12
Congratulations GW!! Plaudits for Gino and Jo too!
Don't know how I managed to go from having a 9 point lead at the top to finishing 13points behind in joint 4th!!
Going to have to look at my training regime for next season, don't seem to be able to predict two sets of scores each week
Massive thanks to gessa for organising the competition and to 64 for maintaining in his absence!! Well done guys it's been great fun! Look forward to next season!

Re: Football Competition 2011/12
First and foremost - congrats to Martyn - it's consistency over the course of a season that always wins!
And entertaining in that it literally went to the last kick with Watford's final-minute-in-off-the-post winner denying me.
On such moments are seasons won and lost!
Thanks to Gessa and 64 for all the effort over the course of the competition - it made watching Final Score on Saturday just a little more interesting.
Well done everyone else that took part.
Back to training soon for the Euros

Brilliant competition gessa, and well done Leon as his occasional substitute - don't know how you keep up with this, the music discussion and the horse racing.
Particularly well done Gino and ldj, there wasn't much in it for the past few months and it was always fun.
Now to defend my title next season.

I don't too Martyn !Guildford White wrote:Brilliant competition gessa, and well done Leon as his occasional substitute - don't know how you keep up with this, the music discussion and the horse racing
Add on top of that i run my own very demanding/successful business as you well know, plus the East Yorks Branch of LUSC & compile the league tables for the Bowls club, yes life is hectic here in the Wolds
Thank you ALL for your kind comments
Re: Football Competition 2011/12
Congrats GW and rest of the top six. And thanks to Gessa and Leon for the occasional reminders to make my picks.
