For me GTA is all about running round bashing civilians.

FFS, Amazon out, so my pre-order won't be dispatched for ages... Surely they should have just got enough copies to cover pre-orders?

You could always cancel it and go hunting a copy.
I've found for a highly wanted game the best places to go are supermarkets, like asda, morison etc.
I want to go hunt a copy but It would be easier to call up the shops first but I have a feeling its gonna be bone dry.

I'll see if I can get to one this eve... Same price in Morissons too, so that's probably my first port of call this evening. If not then I'll just wait for my pre-order I guess, it's not going to change the experience for me massively!

Amazon telling me that "they need a little time before they can give me a delivery time." I have heard rumours that it could be as long as Oct 30th  Game are showing it as 'in stock' on line, but advise it may be cheaper in stores.

The cheapest I can find is £38 Tesco with free next day delivery so I might pop in tomorrow, then, cancel with Amazon for full refund.

Same with me - as soon as I can I'm going to get to a supermarket and pick a copy up!

For me so far:

Wasnt that impressed with it at first it just felt like gta for me.
But as I get more into it, the story is aiming its kicks at rich america and capitalism.
It rips the piss out of facebook, apps, twitter etc, xboxonline fugtards.

It's more of an engrossing game for me, taking in the sites and sounds, and laughing at all the mad stuff that goes on. (Got this bird in my car and reversed before she shut door, then smashed it off hitting another car, drove on like nothing happened) Its full of tiny details, like people speaking mad stuff in ear shot, or yelling out crazy crap as you just miss them with your car.

Last night I robbed this guys taco van, drove off a bit... When he got to the door id drive off more..
Then i got out and ran away and let him get back in it.. Then i ran back up to it and jacked him again, then the poor doofus got flattened by another car.

Dont sit on the fence if you can afford it pal, its a game you wont forget, its the details that make it for me.
Ye f**k it getting it tomorow.

€38 (£32) in Tesco and no problem with stock :-D Have to say Amazon customer service pretty sharp. My faulty game is back with them and a refund sorted, which is all I wanted once I knew the lengthy delivery date.

Tesco also doing Splinter Cell Blacklist for €30 (£25) compared to €53 (£45) in Game

Amazon now saying 3rd October delivery. Bit ridiculous considering it was a pre-order and I was meant to get it on the release date! I think I'm just going to wait though, as I'm short on cash this month and the payment will only come out after payday this way...

Specialist game retailers really need to look at pricing, I can't believe anyone even still buys new games there considering they are always £5-10 more expensive than places like Amazon and the supermarkets...

FFS had to take it back and exchange because of freezing problems. The new disc is doing the same despite my installing the INSTALL disc to Hard Drive and PLAY disc to usb. There were three other people in Tesco this morning getting their money back and I am going to do the same after lunch. I have given up on this!

Rockstar now suggesting the fault is with "older consoles" mine is not brand new, but has large HD + HDMI so new-ish.

Disappointing, but I won't be an early adopter with Rockstar in the near future.
