Yeah can`t disagree with that joelufc and hopefully then we can make a solid push .
So this next window is imperative that Brian can get the cash he deserves. And obviously with the spine kept together.

Some interesting variations in ranking there.
'64 gives Zaliukas 8/10, "would have fallen apart without this fella commanding at the back"
Joe on the other hand gives him 3/10, "kept backing off for me crap"
Crap or commanding? What do others say?

Yes Paddy we are far better set-up under McDermott, BM has introduced young players such as Murphy, Mowatt, Smith & added the experience of Pugh & Zaliukas to the team, also Ross looks a totally different player to the one the majority of our fans were raving about earlier in the season & under previous managerspaddy parrott wrote:Great 1964 i would love to have seen it ,second half comeback an ` all . Do you reckon it`s more a positive to have done this or are we still for the taken with the likes of these so called top sides in the league? Surely were` getting better under Bmc D but you v`e said it more metal and hardiness is needed oh and that winning mentality.
My main concern is our away form, if we can get that right we have a chance !

Re: Leeds v Watford - Team/Reports/Ratings
I will agree with Murphy for MOTM as he's been improving greatly in our last 3 games and starting to look like the player we were expecting for £1M. Zaliukas was commanding at the back for me and realised early on that Watford had superb pace on the break therefore he decided to sit a bit deeper giving himself a chance to get in a crucial tackle , which he did on several occasions.
A great game all in all and a superb advert for championship football. I must admit at HT, I and many others in the East lower we're resigning ourselves to another defeat and a mid table finish. What a difference 45 mins can make, hopefully another boost for the players self belief and we can have a right good go and see where it takes us.

Sam wouldn't have played had Lees been fit !joelufc20 wrote:Had a few pints of 1919 but was getting confused with Byram and zaliukas I'll give him a 7 but my god I was so dissapiinted with Byram
There is obviously a problem with his injury or fitness, really felt sorry for the lad
Re: Leeds v Watford - Team/Reports/Ratings
Yes like a lot of others I was very worried at half time that a) We wouldn't get back in the game and b) That they would just keep breaking and scoring ! But what a turn around by the lads. Ross was brilliant and involved in everything in fact he or Pugh would be my MOM. What was our goal disallowed for ? Didn't look any offside from where I was ?

I am flabbergasted by the new-look Danny Pugh of late. Happy for him, seems to have found a good fit within Brian's system and is playing some of the best football of his career.
