Nottingham Forest v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings

Post by 1964white »

A massive game for us.....will be interesting to see if McDermott makes any changes on Sunday

Murphy has to come back into the team for Tonge hopefully. I suspect Mowatt will be on the bench !

I actually fancy us to nick a win at Forest more so than even getting a draw at Bloomfield Road last night

I've predicted a 2-1 win for us. Assuming Murphy returns. He was badly missed in our midfield yesterday.
Kommander Z is apparently ok to play.

Murphy for "I can only pass backwards, after I check my hair" Tonge - otherwise, same team for me.

Close one this game and to me can`t see a lot of goals. But possibly one might be enough to win it and don`t we owe them .
Oh how we owe them one !, it will hopefully again be a game where BMCD can put his stamp on this Leeds team.
Changes of course with Murphy, Mowatt and possibly the new kid too.
As i say what with our little run and good teamwork again we`ll i hope be tough to beat and just maybe nick it .
But really goin to be a difficult place to win so personally a good perfomance and I`ll take another draw.

Be a hard close game
Be same back 5 -kenny
Zak - Pearce lees
Pelts and Pugh
Murphy -brown and Austin
Smith -McCormack up front

Think he'll have to put subs on to FRESHEN IT UP after 60 mins
Hunt if fully fit could do better in a 3-5-2
The new winger Ariyba ?

MOWATT and Byram on for 20 mins

Need to rotate the team during the 90 mins as we have 16 players that are capable of all starting .

I hate Briwn , terrible but better than Tonge if Rudy and Murphy are playing . Murphy and Austin can bomb on and Briwn hold

Need Byram fully fit and back in the team now , much better than peltier going forward .
Defensively were very good as of Kate
But creativity is poor

A fast mobile tall striker required -hunt not the answer , Blackstock was nearly .
A winger PILKINGTON OR GRADEL

Is Kate good defensively?

Reason this is being streamed is that All forest home games are shown live in the Middle East as part of a deal their chairman has done. John Helm commentates for the channel that broadcasts the games.

We have always been able to put a good run together, then a fame like this comes along and puts us back in our box. Let's hope we are as good as our league position suggests! A point would be brilliant

Murphy in for Tonge, but Michael Brown to keep his place - Mowatt on the bench. I reckon 1-1 for today again, and in truth that's not a bad result away to one of the teams we are competing directly with
Need to see Ross get in the action. He's a confidence player, and three games without a goal could undo much of that great mojo from earlier this month

I'm hearing our cult hero captain had yet another stinker today. has a Leeds skipper had such minimal impact in so many games in the first half of a season, he's on a roll poor v Barnsley, useless v Blackpool & shocking v Forest

Come on Brian, be bold/brave & drop the pub player !

He is fookin worse than the hangover i have right now, and i haven't been able to move for hours. Horrific that he is allowed to be our captain, he shouldnt be anywhere near this club or this league.

I know Meeta he`s poor today but so were all Leeds team .A bog standard forest side were` better and we didn`t get a shot all day.
At least we the majority of fans can and should see our limatations and really can`t expect to do much at moment.
Brian and staff are at least a work in Progress and i don`t like singling out indivduals but i would expect some to have their asses whipped after this.

Yes the whole team was poor, but Austin is our captain and leader. He should be out there setting an example for the rest to follow. He fails at that 90% of our games, and that is no where near good enough.

Yeah the thing is what about Rudi and he has a stormer say next week and scores the winner.
He gets the nod because he gets forward and back to pick up the ball and yes we all see his limits at that point.
Although he is captain we would and should expect more but really can we ? My original point is we are ordinary in middle and i suppose up front ,so it`s unfair to single one or two out.

Xmas period and most of January was always going to be tough, and to some degree we have overachieved imagine where we would be if Ross hadn't hit the form he has, with some solid signings in January we could have a good feb which would see us rise up the league rapid, just think we might have a few poor results coming up. Not to worry tho Islam is always here if needed.
