yes but he played Stewart and Keebie in bizarre circumstances probably a worse managerial decision and I don't think he played Ross as his main striker in every game...

Yes he played Ross on the right several times to accommodate his mate upfront

I can't remember the last manager who was up to the job for the club. Grayson showed the most promise of the recent no-hopers, and that still ain't much in the grand scheme of Leeds United. Being the manager/head coach of the club is probably the most-thankless job out there, and it takes a special person to embrace and thrive in that position.

A game with two poor sides but millwall were far better than us any team that ends up below us will be in trouble.Hockaday was out foxed by the more experienced Holloway. The other worrying thing was seeing Nile Ranger sat in the Leeds end having his photo taken with the fans.

Sadly again the result smacked of a lack of investment on the pitch, granted Cellino's been a little busy with clearing up the mess off the pitch but the product on the pitch has again been skimped and scraped together - the result - another poor result and more of the diet fed to LUFC fans for the last several years - what more do/can we expect?

Most folk seem to be able to identify the need for a couple of DECENT CB's, a midfielder who is going to be able to influence the game (rather than just put in a 'solid' shift) and a PROVEN Goalscorer... oh and a Coach/Manager who is upto the job...

Question is whether Cellino can sign the quality needed or whether he's going to lumber us with loanee's & Journeymen pretty much in the same manner as we've always been fed...

Better to get the right player in rather than panic and buy someone just cos they are available. Jeez let's write off all the signings after 1 game, a game in which half of them didn't even play. Becchio, Snodgrass, Beckford, Gradel & Johnson were all complete unknowns when we signed them, heck 99.9% of fans would not have even signed Gradel after his loan spell ended (after the sending off v Bristol Rovers in the must win match). Most wrote RMC off before his exploits last year. Let's give the coach, el Presidente and the players a bit of time instead of heading for the noose.

Why did we buy them if we were not going to play them if they are supposed to be better than the players we had?

people are expecting millwall to be this some push overs this season and they will be bitterly disappointed they have a manger who has the nack of working on a shoe string budget and does it very well.

Re - the leeds performance was just not acceptable and it was simple really we played the first 60mins with 10 men, Hunt is a waste of space the quicker Cellinio and Hockday learn that the better, i also do not think the 433 system suits our current batch of players i think we need to pack the midfield put big matt smith up front on his own and get runners from midfield supporting him.

Just been into the garden, managed to find one of our nocturnal friends, took it into my games room, Hunt's not the only one, bloody difficult.

Hockaday will be out there now on the training ground, T shirt tucked into his shorts, whistle and stopwatch around his neck like a 1970's PE teacher shouting 'put a shift in, 'work hard'. This is a total disaster.

Lets not forget that except for the keeper and Dourkara, the starting XI was a typical BMD lineup from last season. Should we be surprised at the result really?

Not at all Dan

Changes will gradually materialise once the new players settle in
