Liverpool v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
What a topic header to post up who'd have thought it at the beginning of the season. Anyway I'm looking forward to our trip to Anfield, seems an absolute age since I was last there. Just need to fit padlocks on the zips of my coat now
Unsure how Monk is going to approach this game he may continue to play a scratch team as he's gone with in previous rounds although the likes of Doukara, Roofe, Vieira & Cooper have played in the starting eleven of late
Monk's scratch team :
Silvestri
Berardi Bartley Cooper Taylor
Vieira O'Kane
Dallas Mowatt Doukara
Antonsson
Green Ayling Jansson Phillips Roofe Sacko Wood

I reckon that Monk will play two up top Wood and Doukara .
Silverstri to play with only one change at the back Jannson to come in too. Midfield I can see Dallas in and O'kane with either Phillips or Grimes , Sacko on right.

You don't have the chance to get to many Semi-Finals. I would play our strongest team, with the only change being Silvestri for Green. They will be missing Coutinho, Lallana, and Sturridge for definite, and may rest a few more. Let's go for it.

I would do the same Gandi, just think Monk will stick with the approach he shown in our previous four rounds. I feel we'll need to play our best team available if we are to get anything out of this gameGandalf wrote:You don't have the chance to get to many Semi-Finals. Jurgen Klopp made 11 changes for the visit of Tottenham last time in the League Cup, but he’s struggling for attacking options when Leeds United visit on Tuesday night
The Reds welcome Garry Monk’s Championship outfit to Anfield with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs. Klopp’s men are the strong favourites but history has shown that cup shocks are always possible.
With December’s busy run of fixtures on the horizon, Klopp would no doubt love to make 11 changes again as he did last time vs. Spurs, but with injuries to Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge, plus Roberto Firmino hobbling off against Sunderland, he has no such luxury this time out.
Possible LFC XI vs. Leeds: Mignolet, Alexander-Arnold, Lucas, Klavan, Moreno, Stewart, Grujic, Ejaria, Mane, Sturridge/Woodburn, Origi

Play the same team that has got us here, only fair. I am sure there are some players that want to be involved but I say approach it with the same intentions as the other rounds. Then we have lost nothing if we lose, as we never really expected to go so far.
Judging by the Rotherham game we need a play maker in the mid of the park other wise go long ball game up to wood Antonson, with calls and Sakho on wings. Did I just contradict myself.

Liverpool having the majority of the ball and passing it around well as you'd expect but we've had the best chance so far.

Brilliant atmosphere at the ground - both sets of fans singing non-stop so far.
Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.
Re: Liverpool v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
They are the better footballing team, but despite all their possession, they've not really forced Silvestri into doing much. We've had a few good moments too. And of course - to state the obvious - we are still very much in it,
