Leeds v Aston Villa - Team-Reports-Ratings

Post by 1964white »

Blimey no matchday thread up until now  I have been somewhat occupied with one thing & another this week

Anyway another big crowd expected at ER with our 3rd game in a week. Hopefully the Anfield experience has not taken too much out of our team after they ran ourselves ragged. Looking forward to this one even though this game has a draw written all over it.
In the kop tomorrow so an opportunity to see some good friends I haven't seen for a while !

Team :

Green

Ayling Bartley Jansson Taylor

O'Kane Vieira or Phillips

Sacko Roofe Doukara

Wood

Agree I'd plum for Phillips, maybe Dallas rather than Douks but think Monk will go with Douks

I'd forgot about No.44 wasn't sure which kit to post up  anyway here he is in his Villa shirt. Jonathan Kodjia is keeping Ross out their line-up he is also likely to miss today's game due to an ongoing injury

Do we practice how to give the ball away in training, as we are certainly good at it !

Ayling plays Phillips into trouble and a card results. Yellow for Phillips. I don't know about giving away possession in training Gandi but step overs, back heels and clever flicks must have taken up a large part this week

Don't know if we'll draw or lose, but based on the first half, I don't see us scoring.
Hope I'm wrong.
