Aston Villa v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Aston Villa v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Looking forward to this game after feeling like a prisoner in my own home over the festive period
I wonder how Monk will play it, fans always say stick with a winning team but I wouldn't be surprised to see Wood, Taylor & Vieira line-up in the first eleven
Villa have won their last 5 home games and are near the top of the form table with 12 points from 6
They have not been impressing even so but I think this will be a stiff test
Got a feeling we may still edge it, Leeds to win by the odd goal. But we should be happy with any result. I'm going for 2-1 win to Leeds

Will be interesting to see if Hernandez starts or comes off the bench again? And if Taylor is absent from the lineup. Berardi is a more than stellar replacement.

I'd be very happy with a draw as Villa I think will finish top 6

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
it's which teams they'll beat to get there - likewise Derby - don't know about Fulham.
Amazing that Villa are doing so well with him and noticeable that Fulham are doing well without him - can't think who Leon.

I would make just one change Wood in for Doukara.
I have done a quick preview of the game on my channel.

Phil Hay tweeted that Bartley hasn't travelled down with the others.

He was on the ground for a good bit at the end of the Preston match. Monk probably giving him a well-deserved breather.gessa wrote:Phil Hay tweeted that Bartley hasn't travelled down with the others.

Villa will need to score with this amount of possession and chances or they will regret it

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds - Team/Reports/Ratings
Ayling drifted in too far there and forgot about the Villa winger

Very poor first half of football.

Not pretty to watch but looks like this is Monk's tactics at play.....perhaps a more aggressive 2nd half....hopefully
