Vierra over O'Kame for me and Beradi is a better right back.

Re: Modou Barrow
It' going to stunt Roofe' growth too, he'll get the odd game and then get slagged off if he doesn't play well

I'd agree on Berardi but think Monk rates Ayling more.
Roofe to play last 10 when Hernandez seems to flag.

I love Berardi however it would be wrong to dump Ayling a player I have been critical of at times, all the same he has been immense of late !gessa wrote:I'd agree on Berardi but think Monk rates Ayling more.

Re: Modou Barrow
So ok not to dump Ayling but ok to dump Roofe...

Re: Modou Barrow
Roofe is still adjusting to the championship, the lad has done well but I trust in Monk with the requirements he needed in able to achieve at least a top six finish, he probably feels more quality going forward was a must & the two newbies could be the icing on the cake. I really hope so.....time will tell !faaip wrote:So ok not to dump Ayling but ok to dump Roofe...
Re: Modou Barrow
...but I'd like it to be with us. faaip's right, from what bit I've seen of him there's definitely something there. Could he substitute for Wood perhaps? I don't think so because he's a different type of player but others who have seen him more may be able to answer better.1964white wrote:

I prefer Berardi too btw

Re: Modou Barrow
Why would you start Roofe over Hernandez at home? That's when teams shut up shop and tbh Hernandez has most of the keys

Re: Modou Barrow
My thoughts too. Would play Hernandez home and away and likely rotate through the wingers both in different matches and during the game. Roofe has the flexibility to be Hernandez's back up and replacement towards the end of matches as well as playing some matches out wide.faaip wrote:Why would you start Roofe over Hernandez at home? Re: Modou Barrow
Some Swans fans not happy about Barrow been allowed to leave hopefully that's good news for us

Re: Modou Barrow
Interesting how the arrival of 2 new wingers seemed to effect our 2 wingers that started in the positions yesterday. Dallas put in his usual hard working performance (for me he was the only player that did okay v Sutton) and capped it off with a cracking goal. Sacko on the other hand apparently looked like he couldn't be bothered, seemingly not interested in fighting to hold onto his starting place and was rightly subbed at half time - hoping it was just that he wasn't 100% fit after his lay-off rather than a self-defeatist attitude.

Higher work rate and more of a goal threat.

Pablo is different class
I suspect our two new signings could be a cut above Roofe ....we'll see in time !

Re: Modou Barrow
Must admit have been disappointed in Roofe this season given how well he had done previously. Shows how not everyone can make the jump up the divisions. Hopefully he will come good as he has shown glimpses just not 100% sure he fits in as either a winger or a no.10 in the current system.
