Re: Claudio Ranieri/Leicester
Why do teams do that? When a manager is sacked they go out and play to win as if their life depends on it. Why didn't they play like that before when Ranierei was I charge? Whether they like a manager or not they should respect and play for the fans because in my opinion, these Leicester players have let the fans down badly as it's those very people who pay their ridiculously inflated wages. ( rant over)

Re: Claudio Ranieri/Leicester
Saw Vardy interviewed this morning and he said that the players were disappointed how they were treated (in terms of comments) over the sacking of CR and that got them "fired up to put a response on the pitch".....I'm amazed, even if he's trying to say that they didn't ask for the manager to be sacked the fact that it took him being sacked to elicit a performance like that says it all, CR not going to be reinstated now Jamie
Re: Claudio Ranieri/Leicester
After a comment like that NW there's no way they can say they'd been trying their best individually or as a team, and CR reverting to the 'Tinkerman' may have had something to do with the 2nd part of that. Sad really, not least for the fact that Vardy may not even now realise the nuances in what he said.

When things go wrong someone has to take the blame. Players are rarely sacked so it's the manager who takes the brunt as it's much easier to fire the man in charge as oppose to ridding the nampy pampy players who have let down their manager, fans & the club as a whole.
The Leicester board & their players stink imo

Leicester 1-6 Spurs

Whatever the catalyst, Leicester have done well since CR's sacking.
I'm saddened by the lack of response before it. Leicester thrilled me last season.
