Wounded I'd say '64 can't believe they were so poor this evening. Tough place to go I suppose , no easy games as they say.
They are still a to side for me though they looked a tired one tonight. Roll on tomorrow we need to be on our game and get on amongst the seagulls and stop them running past our midfield. Especially out wide. Oh and let's hope Murray doesn't con the ref for pens. etc ,etc. Come on you Whites.

Re: Championship Talk
Huddersfield and Readings away followings last night were nothing short of embarrassing for teams who were 3rd and 5th. No doubt they'll have all the excuses, Friday night, live on Sky, couldn't get off work.... Blah, blah, they just don't display the loyalty of teams like ourselves and the Geordies.

amongst the top teams it is going to be a case of bumper dogem cars with
crazy results turning up. I hope Leeds can steer a steady course and avoid
any catastrophic crashes.

I know it's not Championship talk, but.........
Wenger had better start spreading his resumé around.

3-1 Wolves ...that one looks done and dusted. Fulham must be real rubbish to lose at Wolves.

Re: Championship Talk
I'd be very happy with a draw tonight

Re: Championship Talk
Good wolves win, ideally a win for us but with other results defeat certainly isn't the end if the world.. Norwich have found some form maybe a late run from them might see 6th place
Re: Championship Talk
And today's win has put us in a good position. Brighton could again throw away automatic promotion.

Re: Championship Talk
Hudds get Fulham at home next
Leeds go to Reading with a the pressure off a little
Newcastle shoud deal with Wigan at St James'
Brighton entertain an improving Blackburn unbeaten in 7
Wednesday have a tough Yorkshire derby at Barnsley.

Re: Championship Talk
Interesting how quickly one set of results changes things - prior to the weekend we'd have been wanting Huddersfield to beat Fulham now completely the opposite.
Just shows how pressure can affect teams. Fulham have cracked twice now when they have had the chance to get into the top6. Their free flowing football suddenly coming unstuck as they crash 3-1 at home to Wolves in what would have surely been the home banker of the day. A lot easier to play football when you are mid table and not really having anything to play for which can make fixtures that appear easy on paper actually harder than ones where you'd be expecting a real battle.
