Some of that bring back some memories, remember that 1-3 defeat to Villa, 2 Leeds, 2 Villa fans in the car on the way home and we got some stick.lufcfilms wrote:The latest episode has just been released. October 1976 to February 1977.

Memories of our lesser years but great to see once again

I think we're in Episode 2 of the wilderness years, 2004-201?
The despair many of us experienced 1975-1988 has been at least equalled by our current exile.
Just saying

These years I have declared my love support for my team Leeds United and it seems funny giving these barren years I became a true Leeds supporter and fan. Even funnier I hadn't seen the Whites for awhile much later at Elland Road in 1982 and my love and support for a legend our very own Eddie Gray and to see what he was up against some'at inspired my support and dedication for a truly great club.MOT.

Remember that game and I think Trevor Cherry was prominent a great full back and servant to Leeds.

Always had it in my mind that the Corrigan save was the following year when, we lost 1-2 in the 3rd round Jan 3rd 1978.
Mind plays tricks.

Oh blimey! You had me worried that I'd cocked up then! However on checking, Clarke was no 8 in the Jan 77 game and no 12 in the Jan 78 game. Phew! And thanks for watching.gessa wrote:Always had it in my mind that the Corrigan save was the following year when, we lost 1-2 in the 3rd round Jan 3rd 1978.

You know mate, I was at both games and was always certain for the last 25 years it was the other way round, looked at the 78 game on youtube to double check, you're correct about Clarke also the pitch condition was much better in 78.lufcfilms wrote:Oh blimey!
