Re: Next Four Games......
5 pts - matches against 2 teams with nothing to play for so could be tricky as they will be playing without fear. Reading will be desperate to gain revenge and if Newcastle are on fire they are the best team in the league. Just as likely to lose at home to Preston then beat Newcastle as the other way round.

1 Reading (a)
3 Brentford (a)
3 Preston (h)
1 Newcastle (a)
If we play like we did v Brighton, above and maybe better is achievable !

Re: Next Four Games......
I've got us down to draw 2 of our next 4 games even though we haven't drawn often this season......6 out of 38 games, saying that we have drawn 3 of our last 7
We are unbeaten in 7 matches after our dodgy patch losing 2 consecutive games after losing our form/momentum due to the Sutton fiasco !
My main concern is can we break the after international break hoodoo as we always seem to be lethargic when returning back to the domestic campaign. Also hope the Pontus situation is resolved if there is a problem of course !

Re: Next Four Games......
Yes Newcastle are vulnerable at home winning 11, losing 5 & drawing 2 of their 18 games, so not convincing on their own patchgessa wrote:I've had a feeling for a while we'll get something at Newcastle.

I have no doubt Monk will have a game plan to frustrate the magpies

Re: Next Four Games......
Four very tough games, three of them away from home.
We'll get three points from the Preston game and draw the other three.
I'm with Gessa: 6 points, meaning we'll still be in the playoffs with only four games to play.
I hope.

Re: Next Four Games......
Reading - it's whose a^se nips first - 1 point or 3
We always seem to have a hard game against Brentford - 1 point
Simon has a 1-4 defeat to avenge and no pressure - 1 point
I think we'll actually beat Newcastle of the permanently puckered posterior at their house - 3 pts
So- likely 6 pts possibly 8
Thing to remember is that these are supposed to be the difficult, high-pressure games.
Look at the 4 after that and spot the banana skins.

Re: Next Four Games......
6 from these 4 games and another 6 from the following 4 would give us 81 points, surely that would be enough for the play offs, Sheff Wed play Fulham last game so both clubs can't achieve maximum points from their remaining games,so we need another 15 points to guarantee a spot, so 9-10 points is realistically enough to get there, 6 from the next 4 games would be enough, 8 would be excellent.1964white wrote:5 to 8 points seems to be the general concensus so far

Re: Next Four Games......Brentford and PNE
Can see a couple of draws coming up like Brentford and PNE, next game could go either way and we are no ones push overs so up to Geordies then I hope 6 points but a point there will be 6 at the least.

Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.
