Re: I think this lot are more pessimistic than some of our fans
The start of the season they were confident of going up automatically, now they could be out of the play offs this evening, another like Derby, showing you have to do more than just spend money to get up. 6 strikers at the club and some of them are blaming it on the fact one of them is injured as to why they're not winning.

They seem very confident they're getting in the play offs.

Strange they are so confident when you consider the Owls have only won one of their last six matchesgessa wrote:They seem very confident they're getting in the play offs.

Fulham can still easily catch them, there meeting last game of the season could be crucial.1964white wrote:Strange they are so confident when you consider the Owls have only won one of their last six matches
Norwich and Preston, both still capable of catching them.
If they lose Saturday, then they may not be so confident.

There is usually one team that creeps into the play-offs at the death so the likes of Fulham, Norwich, Preston, etc shall be hoping they are one of those gatecrashersgessa wrote:Fulham can still easily catch them, there meeting last game of the season could be crucial.

Jesus, they're a bitter lot. Much of a complex about constantly being in our shadow??

Re: Owls fans bleating again....
The usual anti-Leeds stuff. Tedious. In fairness though, a couple of them are prepared to concede that we aren't a one man team and that we cope better without Wood than they do without Forestieri......
Re: Owls fans bleating again....
Some of them nevertheless have a point. If we play them in the playoffs we're as likely to lose as win, as are Huddersfield likely to lose if they play us despite doing the double over us in the league.
Remember that one team that comes from nowhere like Blackpool did a few years ago - refresh my memory but where are the wendies? Just saying that a little humility and goodwill is not a sign of weakness.
