Well that was a rubbish first half, but it's only one goal at least.

Fulham now drawing 1 - 1 so we're back in the playoffs. I think.

What a shite day of results for us

How long were we in the top six before today?

Oh well, only out on goal difference, so still in with a good chance

Gutted . Sounded like a tired performance. The way the fixtures fall means that our destiny is still in our hands ( albeit winning our last three games sounds a bit of a tall order ) . As Norm said this is where Monk earns his money .

Well...................... That was the worst four days imaginable.

We lost five points to every other team in the playoff chase.

Time to regroup.

I think giving our latest showing we need a little miracle to not just qualify but certainly to make the top flight. We don't show up for as many games as those that we do rise above ourselves. And that of course is not good enough , the team is lacking real quality and the physical side to meeting sides head on is inadequate and we don't really score many to suggest that either.
Last nine points to lay for and unfortunately for me we probably are going to come up short , sixth place for us is fantastic but more work and real quality will be needed.

Would be interested to know how we do with Bridcutt/AN Other v Phillips and Vierra. We were good when Bridcutt was injured and played our best game when he was out recently too

Glad I didn't take the day off from work for this. That said, we did a Reading by dominating possession, if only we could score a goal.

Thank god I didn't go today

I know I've been despondent & sounding like a miserable git with regard to our poor performances of late. People keep telling me it's not about performances....well my opinion is if you perform well the results will come as I personally proved today :-D

You can't keep playing badly & expect to win games, we got away with it at the Toon, sounds like we got our just deserts today !

It's not all over yet as we have three games to play but we really are gonna have to up our game if we are to achieve a top six position. Time for Monk & the players to raise their game.

Just back from a dismal afternoon at Elland Road. Against a very very average Wolves team when we desperately needed the 3 points, we just didn't perform as a home side should. However, in reality, 7th is a great achievement for this set of players, but we need to add 3 or 4 QUALITY signings for next seasons assault !!
