I wouldnt be surprised if the England captaincy is giving Joe something to think about rather than his batting for Yorkshire.1964white wrote:Gary Ballance doing his best to save our neck once again with a splendid 125 no
Root & Bairstow can go toddle off & play for England, their heart is obviously not in Yorkshire any longer, bigger fish to fry i suppose !
We got lucky mate.faaip wrote:Another game Mason Crane may have won...
Anyshire (Hampshire), Aka Kolpak County are a disgrace, but what do you expect from a club which has "Property developer" Roderick Granville Bransgore, he sounds like 3 stations on the Metropolitan line, as chairman ?faaip wrote:Only if you have problems with Kolpak which I don't. SA's new policy of only 5 white guys per game in the international side has pushed this big time. SA's white cricketers now need to find another way to earn their living. Kolpak is basically a way for non EU nationals in any form of employment to work in Europe. Brexit will bring that to a halt in all probability
Most of our first side is English - Adams, Carberry, Vince, Ervine (Now English), Dawson, McManus, Topley (when fit) Crane (our new spin hope) Brad Wheal and Chris Wood ...We have 3 Kolpak players and one overseas who didn't play over the weekend. Big miss that George Bailey.
Don't forget Jacques Rudolph was Kolpak.
