Did I choose the wrong day although this match will be over by 2.30pm
Sidebottom 3 for 38, still a fantastic bowler
Glad you had a good day..
Looks like the vile weed are getting a stuffing and being packed over yond hill with their tails firmly between their legs..

Eevine looks a very good player, cracking partnership for the Hampshire boys

Impressive, especially the young leg spinner, very happy with that

Root out for 64
Graeme Swann
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
"Joe Root is not happy at all. It was a short, wide, nondescript ball that he went to give the kitchen sink and got a horrible bottom edge. He's hanging his head in disgust with himself"

Seems like he got starved of a bit of strike and tried to make something happen
Still another great knock from Joe - hopefully England can have a productive end to the innings and post the almost par score of 320 - 330 for 50 overs these days!
Can't believe they are still playing with the weather forecast for Cardiff today - been monsoon like here in sunny Naarrrfak

Yet again the Northants Skipper showing he is willing to risk losing to go for a win!
At some point the ECB will notice this is what fans want in the championship!
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Been like a monsoon for the 48 hours here in East Yorks, we're starting to feel like ducks !

Somerset v Yorkshire
Dreadful collapse from the Yorkies
Well done Andrew Hodd who has saved our bacon with a fine half-century
166 for 8

Somerset 18 for 3
The old Yorkshire stalwart 3 for 5 off 5 overs
God we are going to miss Sidebottom even we have some terrific bowlers in our squad

Yet another collapse from Yorkshire
157 for 2 at one stage this morning
Now 223 for 8
Feeble & senseless batting from our middle-order once again.....are they brain-dead ?
Only Ballance on 59no stands between Somerset & victory now
