Leeds vs Oxford- Final Pre season friendly Thoughts/News/Reports etc

Post by Oscar »

Should be the freindly which gives us the best indication about what Christiansen's Leeds is going to be about, usually is with the final pre-season freindly.
Main thing i'm hoping is that Christiansen starts with the team he intends to start with at Bolton, however, also giving any players pushing for a start at Bolton 30 minutes or so in the second half.
Got my ticket booked in the Kop £7 :-D and just £6 on the train from Manchester, unbelievably cheap day even if it is only a friendly. Anyone else going?

I'd love to be there but it would cost me a couple of thousand so can't really justify it.

Saving my dosh for the real stuff Oscar with five championship games coming up during August, use to do the friendlies with the last one I attended being two seasons ago as they are laid-back affairs & a bit of a lottery from a fans point of view.

Hopefully there'll be a stream as LUTV are screening the match live, if not I'll listen to the commentary

Really looking forward to the Boiton game next Sunday

Have a good day Oscar :scarf1:

Hoping to watch it via a stream, was planning to go but it clashes with my daughters baby shower, me thinking great I can disappear for the day as it's a girl only domain but no apparently the new thing is both sexes attend so I'm in charge of the BBQ and sinking as many beers as possible before the wife notices

LEEDS SQUAD TO BE PRESENTED AT OXFORD CLASH

the final game of pre-season, Leeds United are back at Elland Road to take on Sky Bet League One side Oxford United and fans can look forward to seeing the full squad and all 10 of Thomas Christiansen's summer signings ahead of the game.

As well as normal matchday build up in the stadium, Whites fans will be introduced to each player, with the squad taking to the pitch, to be presented to the fans before kick-off at 3pm.

The likes of Vurnon Anita, Ezgjan Alioski, Samuel Sáiz, Caleb Ekuban, Felix Wiedwald, Madger Gomes, Mateusz Klich, Hadi Sacko, Pontus Jansson and Matthew Pennington will be introduced to fans at around 2:40pm.

I wonder who'll come out last to a massive cheer

think that starting line up shows how we're not at all stronger than last season

in fact, we look weaker, bar alioski perhaps

vieira, dallas, bridcutt, sacko, saiz, klich, anita all on the bench is ridiculous, why do we have so many midfielders and yet only one centre back on the bench
