A total waster who is well past his sell-by date

I doubt Victor Orta gave him a second thought contrary to all the nonsense speculation
Agreed i dont think we ever looked at Howson either, an international midfielder with a decent return in a decent league in Klich or Jonny Howson who never lived up to his early potential for treble the price.

Burton have selection problems

Murphy (ineligible) & Irvine definitely out

Luke Varney & Stephen Warnock doubtful

Really think this may go one of 2 ways, they will come with 10 men behind the ball and try to hold out for a draw or sneak a break away win but if we get an early goal i can see a big win.
Either 0-0 or 5-0 erm.

It would be way OTT to say that this is the most important match so far but it is fair enough to recognise it as a highly significant encounter.

The Clough factor, our struggles against The Brewers last season, our lack of a home league win & goal despite scoring for fun in the Cup are considerations for the fans.
My main concern is the already raised expectations and optimism of many Leeds fans, perhaps overinflated by the recent memory of the impressive performance at Forest, which sets us up perfectly for a fall against a mediocre opponent that is below full strength.

Hopefully we get the 3 points and see continued development of the team.

I was surprised last night when I read we have only picked up 2 points from the last 36 in games after an international break, a voodoo we need to overcome too.

I've always said we were dire after an international break but that is basically because our players were poor & didn't give a damn !

Different set of players now with a superb work ethic instilled by Christiansen

Revenge time by 5pm tomorrow, hopefully Burton will be suffering with brewers droop

No Vierra, which cannot be for rest now. My guess is TC doesn't rate him. Also that's 4 attackers on the bench no back up full backs

Did Akioski play during international break? maybe twice?
Might be a bit tired and flat & therefore better value coming on later in game.
Subs bench is definitely heavy with attackers.

Yes think he played 2 matches and very easy for him to have picked up a knock or two. Great option to have on the bench though with him coming on against a tired defence.
