Reportedly not Dan.
Phil Hay reported we got a permit for him but didn't want to throw him into the championship with no experience in Europe .

Jordan Hugil- 84 Champinship games. 18 goals. 1 goal per 4.6 games (reported valuation -£8mil-£12mil with add ons)
Chris Wood- 83 Championship games (for us) 41 goals 1 goal per 2.01 games (transfer fee 4months ago £15mil)

Not even in the same ball park, like Hugill but in the current market - £6-8mil total.
Jack Marriott- being as Peterborough seem able to spot a good striker, Marriott on current form potentially the best of the bunch. On that basis £4-7mil

https://throughitalltogether.sbnation.c ... radrizzani
According to Phil Hay they prefer Hugill, but not at the valuation Preston want, quite right to, completely OTT.

And in another tweet he doesnt expect any of the 3 rumoured targets, including Prijovic
https://thisisfutbol.com/2018/01/twitte ... iker-trio/

Personally id rather spend £6mil on someone on target for a 30-40 goal season (all be it in the league below) then someone with a 1 in 4 Championship record for twice that and someone totally unproven in England.

Most of the signings and players we're linked with are over seas players, I'm sure i read somewhere there is a limit to how many non British players can be in a starting 11 in the football league. Or did I dream it??

If the figure is correct I'm thinking of being 5, we must be getting close to breaking that rule.

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/01/12/re ... oise-kean/

Never heard of him, originally i was very meh, another future star blah.

But i text my old housemate who is an Italian and crucially a Juventus fan for a bit of insight.

And he said that this kid is a star. 17 years old and playing semi regularly in Serie A.

Think of Nicolas Anelka he said.

And he followed that up with "won't happen".

But anyways dare to dream etc.

Well to start with he won't want to be shipped off to CL

Only got 8 starts apparently. Not bad for a 17 year old playing for a poor side.ss

Justin James was watched playing for Luton over the weekend. Full back.

And we have watched Peterborough for the last 7 or 8 games if you believe there owner.

I'm all for scouting but we need to start buying.

What happened to the Sporting defender?
Mimoun Mahi?
Adam Clayton
Etc etc

We need fresh blood.

Cm is weak, strikers are weak, wingers are weak as evidence by Sacko being on the pitch ever, centre backs weak, improved Coops but he doesnt inspire confidence !

One player in so far two weeks into the transfer window & he didn't play yesterday

Why do I suspect this transfer window is gonna be no different to the previous ones in January :?:

Yes years of disappointment :(

We'll find out by the end of the month if Radz has been pulling the wool over our eyes :duno:

http://sportwitness.co.uk/leeds-united- ... one-month/
https://www.leedsallover.com/leeds-scou ... m-clayton/

As if by magic, two of the above mentioned reappear :)

Now these are calculated risks, im alright with those, its the hopeful punts im fed up of.

Not a huge Clayton fan, he is ok, will do a job, but he is an upgrade on O'Kane and probably Phillips, which is something.

Figueiredo- I mean he is more of a risk, but its calculated, made it into the Sporting 1st team a bit (more then Hadi managed), and not being good enough to be a regular there isnt anything to be ashamed of, Jose Fonte never made it out of there reserves, he isnt a bad defender. Represented Portugal a lot at all levels apart from senior, including 2 U21 Championships, and played in all there games at the 2016 Olympics.

Edit . .the 3rd name, Mimoun Mahi has sort of backtracked on his desire to leave Holland.

Or maybe he is just trusting his DOF to do that bit for him?

Radz-"Victor, this is your budget, please consult with TC and find the players he needs".

1 week later

Orta- Here you are Radz, i spoke to TC and he wants a centre back, i have found Harlee Dean from Brentford, there captain, but i believe that Evertons young defender Penny is a better prospect, with less risk".

End result, we get Penny.
Gotta get a Harlee Dean reference in as much as i can

We curse ourselves with that song. It was funny when we were winning
But it is not so funny when we are a goal down and the opposition fans
are singing it. We have made a rod for our own backs.
