Episode 12 out now. Season 1977-78 part one. A royal visit, an England departure, and Ray Hankin hits form.

Basically, I don't want to read about the Wilderness years, just the successful years - some things are just too painful.

Call me a fairweather fan, call me what you want, but I've really no great desire to see the lacklustre stuff. I mean, yes, I know we had times when we weren't so good, but I don't want to see it in graphic display. I'd really rather review the good stuff and I think 95% of us would be that way.

Fair enough. If that's the general consensus, I respect that and will refrain from posting any more on the forum.
I was just trying to create something to fill the commercial video "gap" between the Revie Glory Years and the Wilkinson Renaissance; our shared history for better or for worse.
Thanks for allowing my posts, and good luck to the forum.

As you say there is a distinct lack fo good quality videos out there on the internet of this period in the clubs history. Rubbish or not, it's still part of our great clubs history and makes Wilkos achievements look even more impressive.

'75-'88 are glory years compared to now.lufcfilms wrote: ↑Sun Mar 18, 2018 10:22 am Fair enough. If that's the general consensus, I respect that and will refrain from posting any more on the forum.

We were in the European Cup final in 1975, finished 5th in '76 and '79 and didn't go down until '82. We then got to the play-off final and FA Cup semi-final in 1987.

I have to say, I have been enjoying the videos too... 1975 was when I first went to Elland rd, so there is a lot of nostalgia there for me.
Song machine is coming down....
