Yes, he's only played 5 games, but those who have seen him play seem to be in agreement that the boy is a bit special and looks to have all the attributes to make it. We never adequately replaced Charlie Taylor, why let what appears to be a ready-made replacement go? Faaip may have slightly exaggerated with 'huge', but Pearce is the sort of young player we should be striving to keep
Indeed we should if our board has any ambition
We've tried 5 experienced players at LB & not one of them have performed anywhere near as well as Pearce. We finally replace Taylor & this lad could be off if we don't hand him a carrot

Good morning Matt
I expect us to retain the majority of our lazy average dead legs which is par for the course at Leeds. How many of our quality/best players will go is a major concern for me ?
I see we are one of the last clubs in with the retain list, silly meaningless tours & boxing events consuming too much time of our owners.
Remind me we are a football club aren't we ?
What did I say ?
It took them all this time to come with a list like this, the majority of our players haven't earn the right to wear the white shirt of Leeds next season

I don't think they have released the senior squad releasee's yet (imo)
this is the only list. it's basically just the list of players who are out of contract at the end of the season and without the offer of a new contract. none of the senior players are out of contract - we'll be moving on the likes of sacko, wiedwald, cibicki for a small fee or on a free.

Afternoon Danhirons, as long as we don't have to start contributing to wages like the bad ol days...
I don't think you can blame the club if Pearce goes. What are they supposed to do offer him £40k a week? He's been sold the ££ by his agent, not the development of his career. Just look at Byram, Taylor and Garbutt for players who've struggled for game time since leaving for bigger pay packets.
On August 15th 2018 family and friends of goalkeeper Andy Lonergan are setting off on a mission to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of two fantastic charities- The Gem Appeal and Mind.
Andy’s daughter Millie was born 11 years ago, but soon after, a routine heel prick test found that she had a rare metabolic condition called Phenylketonuria (PKU).
Millie was sent to Manchester Children's Hospital for treatment and the unit is funded by concerned parents and charitable donations supporting The Gem Appeal.
In August 2013, Andy tragically lost his brother-in-law Anthony to suicide.
Anthony had suffered with depression for many years and on the 19th August the struggle became too much and he took his own life, which has had such a devastating impact on all of the family.
As well as The Gem Appeal, money raised will also go to Mind, to raise awareness help people who are struggling with any form of mental health issues
