Calm down everybody. It is standard business practice to have alternatives in case your No.1 choice doesn't come off. I mentioned early in the week that we had a couple of options in case Bielsa didn't come. The other option is, I believe, Matias Almeyda.

Tactics are awful, lob on tons of strikers and hope.
He built a squad of expensive, ageing players with little resell value.
He has to spend a fortune to have a a chance.
He doesnt play the youth players.
He is tactically limited, one style and one formation, dont expect him to evolve tactically with whats going on on the pitch.

With everything going on at Villa impression is losing Bruce would cheer most of there fans up.

Phil Hay hasnt heard his name mentioned anyways, although he wouldn't rule it out.

Apparently we do have 1 foreign and 1 British alternative, doesnt seem Bruce is the British one.

What worries is the British manager seems to be a rushed appointment, so someone out of work like McCarthy or Pardew. Shudder. Another poor appointment and waste of money those would be.
