2018 WORLD CUP FINAL - FRANCE v CROATIA

Post by 1964white »

Russia the host nation kick-off the 2018 World Cup when they face Saudi Arabia at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow at 4pm on Thursday

Who do you think will win the 2018 World Cup ?

Which team do you not want to win the tournament ?

How far will England go ?

Will you be watching intently ?

Anyone on here who are not that bothered about the World Cup ?

Your comp says it is a 7.45 kickoff ?

Who do you think will win the 2018 World Cup ?
Probably Germany.

Which team do you not want to win the tournament ?
Probably Germany.

How far will England go ?
Not as far as the tabloids will expect them to go.

Will you be watching intently ?
Absolutely. The wife has been tidying her sewing room for an extended sojourn, so it would be remiss of me to let her down.

Got a mate going Saturday for 3 weeks, i do fear for his safety. He's only missed 2 England internationals, home, away and tournaments in the last 14 years.
Who do you think will win the 2018 World Cup ? Open as it's ever been, if I had to pick one it would be Germany

Which team do you not want to win the tournament ? France

How far will England go ? Quarters

Will you be watching intently ?
Not intently, there will be some games that i won't have any interest in.

Morning all,

It is usual for European teams to win in Europe so I would swing towards Germany
England should make Q/F unless there is some surprise in group stages and we fluke a easier run
Dont want Spain to win

....perhaps the England team had better ask someone else to open the door (if they have handles) when entering the team hotel and the stadium changing room

I think it will be one of the usual suspects that wins it - probably Germany (again :( )

(Not a ? - but like to win. Obviously England, but certainly an outsider (aka - the likes of Colombia/Denmark/Peru/Sweden/Mexico) - the 1992 Euro's were great and all the better for a bit of an upset

Not want to win - Argentina

England - quarters

I will try and watch most of the games. Whilst some of the initial group games can be a bit tedious they do throw up the odd gem and when it gets down to the knock-out phase they're all pretty entertaining.
