Lloret was my first holiday abroad, bit off a wild place then.
Indeed!!!

We're a little up the coast from the main Lloret resort, but went through it doing drop offs. Lots of dodgy looking clubs and tattoo parlours, looked like it could be lively enough at night time. Out gaff much more family orientated. God, I'm getting old!!!!

As you both say a bit wild back then, we went by coach, which took forever and I've never felt so bad (not ill, but just run-down), after returning from 2 weeks holiday..........those were the days, could never do it now !! :moggy:

Know what you mean.

Mine was just down the coast at Calella. The hotel room had a view overlooking a dry riverbed which ran out to the sea. You could borrow an air rifle at reception to shoot the rats that were abundant. True story. Wild West or what ! It is about the only part of the holiday that I can remember.

Lloret had an open sewer running through the resort out into sea, lots of turds floating in the sea. Rats abundant at night. For some reason never went back.
