A great game of football between Portugal and Spain. Spain probably paid the price of trying to close the game out to early. Very risky at this level when only a goal up, especially with Ronaldo in the opposing team. Brilliant free-kick to earn Portugal a point.

Those who say Messi is the best need to look at Ronaldo and how he single-handedly took a game by the scruff of the neck and came back against perhaps the best team of the last 10 years.

The Aussies almost take a shock lead but for the French keeper makes fine low save

France had a lot of possession but done nothing with it, Aussie back 4 have done very well, Moy been good too.

Half chances aplenty for France but we've defended well - especially Sainsbury. Had a couple of half chances ourselves.

Didn't look a penalty to me after I saw the replay which is the same as VAR
