Not a surprise.

Be interesting to see what the mega rich Villa owners do.

There still not out of the woods FFP wise apparently.

It was always a matter of when rather than if with him. I still think he'll walk into a top job as he has a big reputation thanks to his mates in the media. That said, I don't think Villa's problems will suddenly disappear with him gone. Their best players were loans and haven't been replaced. The fans want free flowing football but they don't have the players for it.

SOmeone appears to have screenshot a hotel booking register thing.

On it it shows David Moyes checking out of a hotel today.

The hotel is the Marriott in Birmingham.

Either someone has gone to a lot of trouble for a laugh, or David Moyes was in Birmingham.

It was posted on the Villa forum

Apparently it will be Thierry Henry and John Terry "dream team" Yet more clueless owners who want a "big name" with no experience rather than an actual manager. Genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see them go down.

Dean Smith to Villa with John Terry as number 2.

Think Smith is a great appointment.

But the owners forcing Terry on him, not so sure.

Brentford fans are so laid-back about Smith's departure
