Mel Gibson in a kilt perhaps?

A window we’ve traditionally made very hard work of to say the least.
Theres reports coming through that Radz will back Bielsa strongly in January if we are still Promotion chasing.

He wants a striker, a cb and a left winger.

The latter two are kind of, well duh sort of thing, but anyway.

Not sure another striker is needed, a defensive midfielder be nice.

Not a fan of his, just repeats the same things.

"i dont think they have the depth to cope".

We have been coping for the last 6 games.

Such a shame as I feel we would have a four points lead at the top of the table especially if we'd had Hernandez & Roofe to call on.

Points that have come out of the last six games :

We've missed Pablo & Roofe, goals have been at a premium without them
Pontus is easily our best defender, the majority of us knew that from day one.
Alioski looks a more assured player in the LB role.
Phillips bounced back with assured performances after being hauled off v Brum.
Peacock-Farrell shown his metal since his Brum lapses
Klich still impressing.
Roberts has impressed upfront.
Saiz & Alioski miss Hernandez
Clarke looks more than capable of coping with championship football after his cameo appearance v the Bees.
Harrison is only a bit player
Dallas is not a left back or a central midfielder, not sure what he is tbh.
Edmondson doesn't look quite ready going on his one sub appearance.
Baker & Forshaw still waiting to impress
Agree with this

Actually think just saying " we miss Pablo" covers a lot of it.

Everybody looks better when he is there, Klich, Saiz, ALioski, Ayling etc, they all just look better players.

Clarke should be ahead of Edmondson now.

Not sure on Baker, never really stood out any time ive seen him, including u23s.

Dallas is just Dallas, jack of all trades master of none.

Chilli D wrote: Mon Oct 08, 2018 6:32 pm Cjay, The thought and research that goes into your posts never ceases to amaze me.

The cold hard facts are there for all to see.
Key members of the squad missing for over half the games so far and still only one defeat.
This squad definitely has something about it, for the first time in a long time I'm not watching games with trepidation expecting us to lose.
There are some good sides in the Championship but none we should fear from what I have seen so far.
West Brom have an excellent front four which should test us defensively to our very limit but we have Roofe, Roberts, Hernandez, Klich and Saiz so let them worry about us.
For the first time in a long time we have a real chance of promotion and I'm not talking about the lottery that is the play-offs.
There's a long way to go and a lot of games still to play but we can do this, I really believe it.

Chilli
Thanks Chilli, :)

Agree, nobody in this league to fear at all, respect them, but not fear, no way. we are the team to fear

Looking at our fixtures up until Xmas I would be very disappointed if we weren’t in or around the top two and like I’ve said before a striker in the mould of Mitrovich would carry us through to promotion, hopefully Roofe or Bamford could do it but they aren’t proven goalscorers at a high level, I would go for Danny Ings, Charlie Austin or our own Chris wood!! Basically someone who could guarantee goals

When I was asked if there was anything worn underneath my kilt
I replied "No everything is in perfect working order"

Be nice if we really did go buy some proper quality in January, but i seriously doubt we will, or we would have done it in the summer imo. The plan always was minimum investment and hope Bielsa can make more of the squad then others have, think we are pretty skint

Just have to rely on Marcelo Bielsa :)

Back to Chris Wood, I don't think he's been guaranteeing anybody goals has he?
He may just be going through a slow patch but he's off the boil atm.
