Someone needs to take Norwich down. Another late winner for them today. Good news is Ameobi misses the game against Leeds next week...every little helps

Just a minute or so away from top spot before Norwich's late winner, but maybe more importantly now five points clear of third spot.

Got a link for full match video if anyone wants it to watch the whole match again as sounds like streams were a bit problematic today.

After a good opening twenty minutes playing some scintillating football with our composure in front of goal not matching the passing skills & movement of our build-up.

Some Birmingham style time-wasting seem to disrupt our play as we committed so many errors all over the park. Once we had taken the lead courtesy of a Roofe penalty (our first pen in 59 games) we handed the initiative to the hoops enduring some uncomfortable moments more because of our own unforced errors as oppose to quality of the opposition. Somehow we dug in & manage to see the game out to gain three valuable points.

Positives

Three points.
We showed enough tenacity to come back from one down even though we didn't play that well.
We were actually awarded a penalty
Roofe's goals
Roofe's penalty strike
The performance of our kids Shackleton & Halme
Poetic justice with our equaliser coming in the three minutes added-on-time due to QPR's time-wasting antics, should have been five minutes tbf

Negatives

Lack of composure in front of goal when we were in total control.
Our passing game & general play went to pieces, far too many errors.
Not taking QPR to the cleaners once we took the lead, far too negative.

93rd minute winner today.

92nd minute goal to go 3-3 vs Millwall.

97th minute winner vs Millwall!!!!!!!

Thats not normal!!!! ACCEPT DRAWS LIKE NORMAL TEAMS!!!!!!

How can they be so s**t against us then turn into a team who score goals in the 92nd and 97th minutes!!!!

Its not fair.

Did Pablo and Roofe a disservice in the match comments.

Thought Pablo miss hit it and it just hit Roofe.

Actually its a very good 2 examples of great intelligence.

The pass and the finish.

another good result . should and could have been 2 or 3 up within first 15/20 mins. would be nice to be more clinical and blow these teams away however its also important to grind out results when you not at our best. not a bad trait to have really similarities to cardif last year ! got a feeling we got ourselfs in such a great position a top 2 is a real possibility now and anything less for me will be a disappointment .
like to mention we was in the east stand upper yesterday block L41 normally go in the west stand but couldn't get our usual aisle seats so had to bite the bullet and climb those dreaded stairs but once up there what a view with easy excess to the bar and other facilities also to my amazement lots of leg room which sadly cant be said about the lower tier also a lovely padded seat . only downside it was f**king freezing .

As MB said in his post match. It is very tough to win 4 games on the spin in this league. And what a time to do it! Just before the Xmas fixtures pile up.

Positives for me:
We won
None of our defence got injured.
Created some good chances early on.
First penalty in 58 games.
Ground out the result despite not being at our bed.

Negatives:
Concedes a sloppy goal (i guess expected when you have what is effectively your 5th/6th choice centre half on the field)
Should have put the game to bed in the first 20 minutes.
Let them back into the game after scoring the second goal.

All in all though. We are pulling a nice gap out to 3rd and 7th as well.
Other sides around us are faltering and we are marching on despite our obscene injury list this year. How many other teams can cope with the injuries we have had? Especially given we didnt have the biggest squad in the first place.
