Wow ! that game was as wonderful as our early season form, a team performance of the highest order confirming we are best team in the championship. The Leeds fans played their part in what was a brilliant atmosphere, the cauldron of noise was incredible :scar1

Positives

Scintillating stunning football from Leeds.
We totally outplayed a team in the play-offs.
We confirmed we are the best team in the championship.
Top of the league no matter how the results pan out today.
Jack Clarke our rising star
Forshaw, awesome performance after two poor shows
Cooper back
Ali at LB
Jansson at his imperious best
Klich back on song
Roofe scores again
Hernandez played
Clean sheet
Magical atmosphere......"All Spies Are We"
We won easily even though the officials obviously favoured the Rams

Negatives

Referee/linesman, Two penalties denied. Three horrible challenges possibly warranting red cards.
The 2-0 scoreline doesn't reflect this was a massacre.
How the hell are Derby in the top six, they were like lambs to the slaughter.
Derby fans, feeble like their team
From what I've read on the forums - SKY TV

7 Peacock-Farrell
Ayling
9 Cooper
9 Jansson
9 Alioski
9 Klich
9 Forshaw MOTM (I've been very critical of AF however he was immense last night)
8 Hernandez
7 Harrison
9 Clarke
9 Roofe.
Subs
7 Shackleton
7 Davis

Benjamin is a Ipswich fan but he goes to more of our games than many Leeds fans do !

I enjoy listening to his precise summaries, a very knowledgable football fan

All season long Keith Andrews has said we'll fall away, we're not good enough etc blah blah blah. Just bitter cause we never signed him.

I'd love to know who these outstanding Derby bench players are exactly. :duno:

It is good to get unbiased feedback from a neutral supporter.
Perhaps they see clearer than anybody else since they are not
emotionally involved and can report rationaly.

Newport white wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 11:03 pm Come on now cjay , this Leeds team is the real deal , we don’t need any new signings to disrupt the close knit squad, that was the best Leeds display in years, absolutely awesome display against a major rival
Great brilliant wonderful performance (still think we have performed better this season though).

Still need 2 or 3 new players imo, most importantly a goalie who it seems is on his way :)

Looking back, the assaults on Ayling, which went unpunished and the one on Pontus at the end, were both worse challenges than the one Phillips got sent off for. They should have had 2 reds and 3 furthur yellows yesterday, not forgeting the 3 penalties we were denied. Not morally wrong but certainly ineptness by the officials, non of the decisions were borderline, all obvious not given by officials in very good positions

I know the ref gave the first pen but an awful decision from his assistant, not even close.

Some crazy decisions from the officials. How the ref didn't give something for the stamp on Pablo's foot is beyond me...he was stood staring at it

I wasn't that impressed with Mount, Marriott or Lawrence whom our very own Cjay has raved about in the past

I just watched the highlights once again... it seems to be focused entirely of the runs of Jack Clarke
There is one bit where he is in the 18 yrd box and he does an outrageous chip over the defender
and I thought to myself where have I seen that before and it was Gassa in the Euros against Hendrie.
Pity Jack didn't get a goal from it for it was a consummate bit of skill. Kid could become a legend.

Saw that rab, I only hope he becomes a legend for Leeds United, not any other 'big' club!
