Re: Jack Clarke- Get Well Soon
Get well soon jack, good news he’s out of hospital, hopefully on just a minor issue, we’ll done to the medical teams on their treatment of the lad
I realised I was dyslexic when I went to a toga party dressed as a goat..
Re: Jack Clarke- Get Well Soon
Has returned to Leeds.
Will undergo more tests this week and wont train.
Big blow that for us, huge, desperately lack creativity on the wings without Jack.
Kids health comes first though.

His health does come first and wish him well for a good recovery.
It has to be said that Leeds have been just 'a tad' unfortunate this season - A tad !?
I'm sure Jack will be fine and thanks to him Leeds had the time to get the equaliser, I'm sure that'll cheer him up a bit

Re: Jack Clarke- Get Well Soon
Its good to hear he is on the mend.
We miss his pace and craft and the simple fact he scares teams to death to the point they double mark him.
We may get past QPR without him seeing as they have only picked up 1 point in 2019 (Bolton have 4).
But we need him back for WBA.
They showed they can defend against us then break, we need someone like Jack who can make that space for others.

Despite the disappointing result was great to see Jack back.
As usual he created something, probably our best chance with the pass to Jansson.
Big player for us in the final run in.

Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On
Yes having Clarke back, Roofe back, Brown fit, Bogusz acclimatised to the Bielsa way and suddenly our bench looks pretty good. Just think every match we can bring one of those 4 on after Douglas and Dallas have come on.
Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On
Hopefully scoring the winning pen yesterday will do Jack the world of good.
He hasnt looked right since Boro but imo vs Ipswich he looked at least a bit like his old self and did cause problems.
Without wanting to put to much pressure on him Derby fans and players wont have forgotten what he did vs them the last time we met, he tormented them so much they shipped the full back out on loan and signed Ashley Cole 10 years to late.
Hopefully Shacks will play a part to, he came on Vs Derby and between him and Clarke they gave the Derby left side nightmares.

I'm still clinging on to the dream I had, where Jack Clarke scored the goal to get us promoted.
I have had premonition dreams which have come true, so hopefully this one will too.

He'll need to show a lot more than he did yesterday to make a difference to the first team.

Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On
If Clarke could get back to somewhere near the level of performance when he first broke into the first team it could be the difference between us going up or staying down.
Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On
Yes, a genuine game changer in those early appearances. Has looked like a bit of a one trick pony since though.

We need our big names to stand up to the plate over the next three games
We don't have a proper game-changer on the bench, we haven't all season
Another one of my quibbles proven

I think that's a long way from proof.

No, your point was we've not bought on much in the way of game changers, and that is proof we don't have them. It's really not....we might easily have them but they've been unused. Don't live by MB is god, he has gotten things wrong in his first season and not using impact players such as Shack, Gotts, Brown, Stevens, Clarke (at times before the illness,) Bogusz etc is one of them. Roofe used properly off the bench could be a gamechanger also

Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On
Tbf we have no idea if Gotts or Bogusz would be able to make an impact.faaip wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 2:24 pm No, your point was we've not bought on much in the way of game changers, and that is proof we don't have them. Brown is not an MB sort of player and in the same way Bamford isnt an ideal fit imo Brown isnt either.
As for Roofe i dont think he has scored from the bench ever has he? No indication he is an impact sub either.
Have to say i agree with Leon, our bench has been devoid of proven quality all season.
Villa can bring on Kodjia, Adomah etc proven players.
WBA have Robson Kanu, Johansen, Montero, Phillips, again proven players.
Even Blades and Norwich had Madine, Dowell, Vrancic, Leitner.
Derby have Nugent, Jozefzoon, Bradley Johnson.
At best we have some kids or a long term injury in Brown.

Re: Jack Clarke- Get Your Boots On
Proven quality is not proof of no quality ...while these players remain untried high ceiling prospects we just don't know. But we've had lots of chances to find out.
